Buried treasure

I love to use real coins for buried treasure (I know you might lose a few)

Write the words with the target sound on the stickers and bury in the sand. The child has to find a coin, bring it to you and read the word.

Extension

Write cvc words or words with the target sound. Include some alien or made up words. The child has to find the coin, bring it to you, read it and decide whether it is an alien word or a real word.
